OKRs
Overview
In Kiplot, Initiatives and Outcomes are connected to strategy through value forecasts.
This is in contrast to Value Forecasts, which are expressed in Measures (e.g. Revenue, e.g. Cost, e.g. Users, e.g. NPS Score).
In this guide, learn how to configure OKRs in Kiplot by establishing the relevant Objective Groups and Measures for your organization to track OKRs.
Establish Objective Groups and Measures
Setup Objective Group
Objective groups in the OKRs tab allow you to group Objectives (i.e. those set up in Strategic Portfolio. This helps show how key results connect to strategy.
To add a new group under the OKRs tab, navigate to the Configuration page.
Click on the β¨ Add group button located in the Groups section.
Once you've entered the group name, click the Add button to create the new group. After clicking Add, it will be listed under the Groups section in the OKRs tab.
Objective Groups can be enabled or disabled where necessary.
Setup Objective Measures
This section is where you establish the Measures your organization will be using to track OKRs.
Click on the β¨ Add measure button located in the Measures section.
You can set up multiple measures to represent key results that use different metrics. For example, you might set up cost, revenue and number of customers as measures, which will be able to drive a single or various objectives.
Measures can be enabled or disabled where necessary.
